A Song of Fire and Iceland: Game of Thrones Risk Game

You know what the game of Risk and the Game of Thrones have in common? Both are waaaaaay too complex for me to follow and I usually fall asleep halfway through. (The key difference? Nudity and dragons.) Artist Fay Helfer created this beautiful Game of Thrones Risk set that includes an engraved wooden box, a carved wood map of Westeros and fancy looking cloth pouches to hold the game pieces. Sure, there’s still no sex or dragons involved in Risk, but I’d be willing to give the game another try if it looked this pretty.
