Clearly Futuristic: Project Glass by Google

Hopefully in the future we won’t be using time as currency, making kids fight to the death, or creating robots that eventually rebel and overthrow society. With any luck what we will be doing in the future is walking around with sweet ass computerized glasses. Google is bringing us closer to that future with Project Glass. Project Glass combines smartphones and glasses, giving you a new way to annoy people around you interact with the world. The eyepiece itself kind of looks like a mix between a Dragon Ball Z scouter and Geordi La Forge’s visor, but the functionality makes up for what it lacks in fashionability. The glasses basically add a heads-up display to your life, overlaying maps, video chat, and notifications on top of your normal vision. Check out the video to see how it would work.
