The $290 Brown Paper Bag Purse

This is the Vasari purse from desiger Jil Sander’s fall/winter runway show. It’s selling for $290. Don’t be fooled by the fancy-pants name, it’s just a brown paper bag. Literally. The only thing that sets it apart from the sack you bring your lunch in is that it’s laminated. Well, that, and it’s being touted as some kinda fashion statement. Which, if you think about it, is pretty hilarious. This is like hobo style! My neighborhood homeless dude has been carrying his shit around in a brown paper bag for years! How about you give me like 6 bucks? I’ll use it to buy myself a 40, and you can have the brown bag it comes in. It’s a win-win for the both of us!
