Yesterday I did six loads of laundry. I could be grumpy about this and the fact that it’s still not done. Instead, I’ll be thankful that I am able to handle it on my own. Woof to Wash is something special created by commercial laundry solutions company, JTM Service in the UK. They hacked a washing machine in partnership with manufacturer Miele to create a washer to used by assistance dogs. Duffy, a 2-year-old golden Labrador, was the test pilot for the machine. Duffy opens the washing machine door, loads garments from a laundry basket, closes the door, and then barks to activate a voice sensor to turn the machine on.
