Chick Beer: Strong Enough for a Man, Packaged for a Woman

Chick Beer: Strong Enough for a Man, Packaged for a Woman

Ladies, don’t you just hate how beer makes you burp when you drink it? Not to mention all of those empty calories. And why can’t the bottles be prettier? Actually, I’ve never had a problem throwing back a few beers and belching like a guy, so I don’t entirely get the appeal of a mellow light beer with less carbonation made specifically for women. I’m also not a pink and swirly fonts kind of girl, so the packaging is lost on me too. But maybe there’s something to be said for a beer that won’t ever be featured in a commercial with bikini babes. Love it or hate it, Chick Beer is the first beer marketed specifically for women.

That they used Curlz MT for the typeface says everything anyone ever needs to know about both the package design and the amount of thought that went into the entire brand.
