Barbie Exposed… Even More Than Usual

It’s no secret what’s going on underneath Barbie’s clothes, but have you ever wondered what’s underneath her fake plastic skin? If you have an older brother you may not have had to wonder. Short answer: she’s hollow… and she melts easily. (The long answer is that I’m still in therapy over what he did to poor Skipper.) But Jason Freeny, apparently deciding that there should be more to her than that, created an anatomical model of Barbie. Unfortunately the doll itself isn’t for sale, but Freeny is selling signed prints of the piece over at Moist Production. You know, it’s not fair that even with her skin peeled off, she still looks perfect. It’s not realistic! Young girls everywhere are going feel bad about themselves for not having hot pink insides like Barbie!
