Enjoy A Drink At Hobbiton’s Green Dragon Pub

If eating a Hobbit themed breakfast at your local Denny’s isn’t authentic enough for you, maybe you’d prefer to grab a beer at the Green Dragon. Located in The actual Shire New Zealand, the pub which was part of The Hobbit movie set has been opened to the public. (No word on whether they serve Hobbit sized beers or giant glasses that make you feel like a Hobbit, but we’re hoping for the latter.) But don’t blow your savings on plane tickets to New Zealand just yet because the Hobbit experience hasn’t yet reached its peak. The Hobbiton Board of director George Hickton predicts that eventually people will be able to stay overnight in Hobbit holes. If they do it right every room will come with a continental breakfast, a continental second breakfast, and your very own pair of Hobbit slippers.
