The Kinect Shopping Cart Follows You Around The Store

Folks have come up with some pretty neat uses for the Kinect, which is great because frankly there are not a lot of good games out for it. Using Kinect’s magic powers camera and voice recognition abilities, Chaotic Moons Labs created the Smarter Cart. In this demo you’ll see the cart follow the shopper, scan items and keep track of a saved shopping list. The Smarter Cart will help you remember items on your list, stay within budget, and free up your hands while you shop. It’s kind of like having your own little helper elf with you while you shop, except you don’t have to kidnap any children or midgets.
