The Latest in Soccer Mom Couture?

Unless I’ve got the meaning of the word wrong, soccer ball handbags seem a little ironic, since you’re not supposed to touch a soccer ball with your hands. But hopefully the referee (and fashion police) will let it slide for these cool handmade bags. Of course, since soccer’s not huge here in the states, you’ll have to look abroad if you want one. The bag pictured here was created by the Japanese company Ore, while another company in Germany called Abteil makes bags out of recycled soccer balls that have been turned inside out.
