Recycles Old IKEA Catalogs Into Totes

Taking a page from IKEA’s furniture catalog doesn’t have to result in non-descript instructions, an allen wrench and dozens of F bombs. Portugal’s Tela Bags takes sheets from the Swedish retailer’s out-of-date catalogs to construct a series of tote bags, zipper pouches and wallets papered with scenes of the retailer’s thoughtfully designed living spaces. You can experience all the goodness of these spaces without the crowds or the temptation to eat your weight in Swedish meatballs. While they may not be the cutest bags around, they’re responsibly made and sure to spark a few interesting conversations. Source
