Youtuber Pumzilla posted this video of Twinkie the cockatiel whistling the Andy Griffith theme song to his stuffed turtle. It makes me so happy, it’s made me physically ill — twice! I can’t wipe this shit eating grin off my face. Even after my boss handed me a mop and said someone puked in the supply closet. What he doesn’t know is that it was me! Just kidding, he is well aware it was me, he’s probably just too embarrassed to admit it. I don’t know why he’d be embarrassed — he’s not the one who ralphed on the fax machine because he watched a video of a bird whistling. That’s something I’ll never live down.
i had a pied cockatiel growing up, and the only song he knew was the theme song to the andy griffith show. he could talk a little bit, he would call my grandpa a bozo anytime he came over and stuff like that but we thought he was the weirdest bird on earth.. turns out he had friends apparently. (side note.. this keeps trying to correct “cockatiel” to “cockatrice” pretty sure cockatiel is slightly more realistic and common than a cockatrice)
