Get Fido To The Gym

Forget limiting bacon treats and taking your best friend for regular walks, dog owners in Japan have a new way to keep their pooch’s weight in check. A new line of body-monitoring fitness trackers for dog, called the Wandant, went on sale yesterday. The device attaches to a dog’s collar, contains three accelerometers and records data every 10 minutes, tracking info like the number of steps Fido takes and his stress level (based on how much the poor guy shakes). What I want to know, is what happens when the dog isn’t putting in the effort to lose those pesky pounds? Oh right, dog shaming!
