Aww or Eww? Animals In The Womb

There’s no denying that animal babies are super adorbs. But there’s something kinda icky about womb shots…. like, everything’s all pink and gooey and weird in there. So you may have mixed feelings about these photos of baby animals inside of the womb (unless you’re mature enough not to find everything about the birthing process to be super gross like I do). Ick factor aside, I vote “Aww” on these animals in the womb shots because they are so tiny and precious—even the elephant! The images come from the National Geographic Documentary Extraordinary Animals in the Womb and were captured using a combination of a crew of explorers and a shrink ray 3D ultrasounds, computer graphics and small cameras.
