Solar powered charging stations for cell phones and MP3 players have been around for a while now, but Panasonic has done something new with that technology. The Solar Table stores energy that you can use to charge all your devices, but the best part is that it doesn’t require any wires. Just sit your cell phone, MP3 player, or other device on the table, and through what we can only assume is sorcery of some sort, your device will start charging. We hope to see these tables at every coffee shop with outdoor tables over the course of the next few years.

This is a truly brilliant product! I’m sure it is fairly expensive right now, but if they can keep the manufacturing costs down I’m sure these tables would start popping up all over the globe.
That would be a big win for the environment and extermely convenient for restaurant customers!
