This Lawn Dinosaur Knows How to Dress For Every Occassion

Redditor Sarcasticonomist and his wife have a lawn dinosaur named Dug that they dress up for different holidays. They purchased Dug from a landscaping supply company, but they make all of the costumes themselves. Dug can be spotted in front of their home in Redwood City, California usually sporting a different seasonal outfit, like an Easter Bunny costume, football uniform, Santa hat, or Halloween costume. While you might expect uptight neighbors to complain, the family actually receives a lot of positive feedback from neighbors who enjoy seeing Dug’s various outfits. It’s too soon to tell whether or not lawn dinosaurs will be the new garden gnomes, but one can only hope.
