House In The Middle Of A Highway

The Chinese government wanted to pave a road through Xiayangzhang. They compensated all the residents of the village a sum of money to GTFO so they could start laying down pavement. Sweet old couple Luo Baogen and his wife refused to accept the $42k offered, so the government paved the highway around their home. Like, all the way up to the foundation. They don’t have a yard anymore. Or front steps. But what they DO have is a giant-ass drive way. And giving directions to their place is gonna be soooo easy. Just get on Highway 40 and drive north. You’ll pass a Mickey D’s on your right and then you’ll see our house. It’s right there in the middle of the f***ing road. You can’t miss it!
