A $7000 Ashtray Fits In Your Purse Just As Easily As A $7 One

Who doesn’t love stealing stuff from hotels? Towels, bathrobes, silverware, mattresses—everything’s fair game. But since I can only afford motels (you know, the skeevy ones that charge by the hour), most of the stuff I pilfer isn’t worth much (which just means you have to steal more to get your money’s worth). Sometimes when I’m loading all of my stolen stuff onto the dump truck so I don’t lose my house because of hoarding laws, I reflect on my life choices and dream of the things I would steal from a hotel like the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. Like this ashtray, worth $7250. Why is it worth that much? My guess is because the people who sell it have to stay a night at the super expensive hotel so they can steal it. Plus it’s got diamonds.
