Space Noms: Ice Cream Cake Moon

Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien created these moon shaped ice cream cakes for Häagen-Dazs. Not only do they have ice cream AND cake for guts, but they’ve also got tons of other goodies hiding in there. A pistachio cookie base, macadamia nut ice cream, meringue, and raspberry ice cream makes up the innards of the white moon, while the orange moon is made up of crunchy chocolate, nutty ice cream, salted caramel, and vanilla ice cream. Personally, I always thought the moon was made of cheese. Space cheese that’s been aged for billions of years. Real stinky stuff. But you know what? I’ve been wrong before. All the time, in fact.
