Have A Slice of Raw Turkey Cake

Aren’t sweets that look like savory foods fun? The bakery around the corner from me does this cute thing where on Christmas they make a cake that looks like a cooked ham. It’s adorable and funny and everyone loves it. This raw turkey cake by Sarah Hardy Cakes in London seems somehow less appetizing. I’m sure this orange and rum spice cake tastes absolutely delicious, but how could you ever get past the fact that it looks EXACTLY like a raw turkey with weird lumpy skin and everything? It’s like purple ketchup—I know it’s just regular ketchup with food coloring but somehow it tastes like mashed up slugs.
