Japanese filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki is retiring after 60 years of creating amazingly imaginative, beautiful animated features. In Sunday’s episode, The Simpsons pays tribute to the legendary animator. This is that tribute. It’s pretty amazing. If you’re a Miyazaki fan you’ll love it. If you’re not a Miyazaki fan, then uh, you probably haven’t seen any of his films. Yeah! My personal fave is a tie between Spirited Away (No Face is my homeboy!) and Howl’s Moving Castle (sometimes I feel like a young-ass lady trapped in a old-ass lady’s body). But really, how can you pick just one? They’re ALL good to watch while tripping balls. It’s so hard to choose!
