Maybe You CAN Simply Walk Into Mordor

Everyone knows that one does not simply walk into Mordor. But Kerry Shawcross and Chris Demarais of Rooster Teeth decide to give it a shot anyway. They traveled to New Zealand (aka Middle Earth) in order to walk from Hobbiton (aka The Shire) to Mount Ngauruhoe (aka Mount Doom). Apparently the two locations are only about 120 miles apart so it shouldn’t actually take 3 movie to do it. In order to make their journey as legit as possible they dressed like Hobbits, carried a ring of power replica, and planned to “sleep on the ground, cross rivers, and of course, eat Lembas Bread.” So will this mean the end for the meme? Only time will tell.
