Romantics everywhere will likely shun the idea of yet another new fangled mix tape. Even with iPods and playlists, I know more than a few folks who still whip up a mean mix CD, all the while missing good ol’ cassette tapes. Now personal musical love notes can be sent via those strange blurry code thing-ys. Stupid, a collective of young creatives in the UK, have designed greeting cards with customized artful versions of QR codes (called QR Images overseas) that when scanned, lead you to specific playlists on Spotify, making them the third generation of the time honored gesture.
