Who said burlesque is dead? Because they were half right. According to French artist Angel Roy burlesque isn’t exactly be alive and kicking… more like undead and shuffling. Roy’s “Zombie Burlesque” digital art series turns vintage style pin-ups into creepy zombie portraits, adding features like exposed bones and muscles. The original photos come from Mila Reynaud of Glamorama Studio Photography who offers pin-up style glamor shots. Do you think the people getting glamour shots know that they’re going to become zombies afterwards? Some people would probably pay extra for that.
