Chances are, you’re pretty familiar with Gil Elvgren’s paintings of pin-ups, but did you know they were inspired by real life ladies? Me neither. And if you answered yes, then, oh. Okay. Well, for the rest of us, here’s a side by side collection of the paintings and the models who inspired them. Pretty cool, huh? Yeah, I thought so too. And if you answered not really, then, man I am doing pretty bad at this today.
