Miniature Liquid Planets

This a photo series shot by artist Markus Reugels. Using a high-speed camera, he photographs droplets of water that show a refraction of the backdrop. They’re pretty amazing and I’m about 98% convinced he uses sorcery to capture the images. You can purchase various sizes of prints or make a request for a specific background of your heart’s desire. Me, I’m gonna ask him to use a portrait of me. But instead of water, I want droplets of Hawaiian Punch (not for any particular reason except man, I love that shit!) Maybe with the added effects I won’t look so ugly, you know? Plus, it’ll be a great conversation piece for when I throw fancy dinner parties the maintenance guy comes to change the filters in my apartment.
