In honor of Laguna Beach’s second annual Festival of the Arts, jewelry designer Adam Neeley tried his hand at clothing design. And not just with any old dress, but a floor-length flamenco gown fashioned from the pages of Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and Glamour. Using about 70-80 magazines, Neeley constructed “Novella” from more than 1,000 hand-folded paper fans, which he attached to a muslin base. For the bodice, Neeley re-purposed several of garbage bags, which made way for a plunging halter-neck sprinkled with black glitter.
