Life-Sized Monopoly Livens Up Chicago Streets

Life-Sized Monopoly Livens Up Chicago Streets

Walking to work, walking to pick up your dry cleaning, walking home from a doctor’s appointment…it can get pretty mundane, even in a busy city that’s crawling with new faces and sounds each day. Street art installations are always so delightful to see (but damn it, I only see them on the web). An artist simply known as Bored, filled Chicago’s Logan Square with subtle additions of Monopoly-inspired sculptures, so that it’s as though pedestrians are part of the life-sized board game. The only things it’s missing is the satisfaction one gets from completely wiping out every last piece of real estate from a friend, followed by him getting sent directly to jail.
