Jesus Our Lord & Savior Plus Spiderman

Italian artist Igor Scalisi Palminteri repaints Christian saints to resemble superheroes in a series called Hagiographies. These are some of them, but there’s more. Ohoho, there’s more! Now I didn’t pay much attention in church (go for the wine, stay for the potluck, amirite?!), but is that Superman Jesus holding Superbaby Jesus? Am I seeing that right? Sure, you could say the renderings are sacrilegious, OR you could say “Damn yeah, SpiderJesus!” and finally convert. Just like your mom’s always prayed for!
