High Speed Photos Of Water Balloons Popping

Here is series of high-speed photos which features water balloons bursting. Man, of all the times the neighborhood kids would pelt me with these things, I never would’ve thought that the water still retains its shape in the millisecond before it explodes against my head. Edward Horsford, the photographer responsible, manages to capture a balloon riiiight at the moment of poppage. What? Poppage is a word! Oh, it isn’t? Well look at you with your fancy college degree! Some of us slept through 9 years of higher education with nothing to show for it but a mound of debt and my Freshmen Fifteens.
