Furniture Transformed From Trash to Menagerie

Old, beat up furniture usually ends up at the curb. Smart folks like me will scoop it up in an attempt to give it new life. Only to have it end up in the basement, labeled as “future projects that will probably never happen.” Artist Marc Sparfel certainly does one better. He takes discarded pieces and turns them into sculptures that resemble animals that roam the Earth. The abandoned furniture becomes unique works of art to accompany a home’s fresh finds. Antelopes, birds, giraffes, elephants, and more are surrealistic sculptures that will be treasured for years beyond the life of the furniture itself.
