Face Painting From Hell

Normally face painting involves cutesy stuff like butterflies and cat whiskers, not extra eyes and skin zippers. But this tumblr blog, Monos, contains the type of face painting you’d expect to see at a carnival built on top of a nuclear waste dumping site that’s run by Pennywise the clown. The attention to detail in the paintings is what makes each photo truly terrifying. It’s not just that someone has eyes painted on their face—they have almost exactly copies of their own eyes on their face making them look like a mutant or genetic experiment gone wrong. There doesn’t seem to be any information about the artist, which is a shame because I’d like to know who’s to blame for the nightmares I’ll be having tonight.
