Custom Lettering of the 60s & 70s

Graphic designers today don’t know how easy they have it. Back in our day we had to walk 5 miles in the snow with no shoes and there was no Photoshop nor were there thousands of fonts to choose from. We had to draw it all ourselves, by hand! Seriously, it’s all true (except maybe the part about walking in the snow). Custom Lettering of the 60s & 70s demonstrates the impressive talent of artists who provided typefaces seen on TV, in comic books, magazines, flyers and advertisements. Filled with more than four thousand retro designs it might make you stop and appreciate your own font library. $31 Source
