It never fails. You give your dog a bath or bring them home from getting groomed and it rains. They come back inside, sopping wet and ready to shake off that water all over the place. You almost wish they could just do the polite thing and ask you for a towel. While you might be rather pissed off at the moment, if you were to snap a shot of them as they make that slobbery mess, you’d forgive them. Pet photographer Carli Davidson of Portland, Oregon takes portraits of owners and their pets, be it a dog, cat, goat or even an armadillo. While her portraits are nice, it’s her series “Shake” that’s really worth sharing. Davidson captures dogs shaking their heads. In each photo, ears are flying, drool is a’ flinging and fur is all a frenzy. The distorted expressions – half-grimace, half-smile – might make you think twice about disciplining the helplessly adorable family pet. Source
