Blandito – Italian For Human Burrito

As a kid, there was nothing quite as cool as building forts and tents inside your house on a rainy day. Transforming the couches, tables and a few bed sheets into a cozy hideaway was half the fun…then, once inside, you were able to take any task or game to the next level. Blandito goes something like that. Inspired by the idea of sofa morphology, it’s neither chair nor bed, nor couch or pillow. Whatever it is, Blandito can be folded, wrapped, twisted as much as you like, turning ordinary members of the family into a human burrito of sorts. It uses a flexible frame, making it soft and malleable to hug the body like no homemade teepee can. And while it isn’t available yet, we’re sure the Internets will be abuzz once it is.
