These days, we are constantly bombarded with photos that make us hungry. Have you been on Pinterest or Instagram? I rest my case. Photographer Christopher Boffoli presents food-inspired works that are a little more creative than what he ate for lunch. His series of photographs called Big Appetites turns the everyday into a miniature world. Playing on our perception of scale, he uses food to set the scene, and adds in tiny figurines of people doing everyday things. Rigatoni becomes a pipeline factory and a squashed blackberry is a crime-scene.
