Artist Turns Body Parts Into Kitchen Accessories

Artist, designer, and person I’d feel uncomfortable riding next to on the bus Christine Chin has created a series of kitchen items based on human biology. The series is called Sentient Kitchen and it features items like salt shakers, tongs, and milk jugs reimagined as human body parts. Chin points out that many modern machines borrow from biology and adds, “Sentient Kitchen products offer a non-threatening environment to explore the benefits of smarter, more sensitive solutions to our daily dining needs.” Non-threatening? I don’t know about you guys but if I walked into someone’s kitchen and everything they owned was made out of human body parts I’d feel really threatened. I’d be all like, “Run! Before they turn your butt into a toaster!”
