Art On Wire

Art On Wire

If you’ve ever taken a drawing class then you might have a sketchbook full of continuous line contour drawings laying around somewhere. This technique seems rather insignificant on paper, but it really comes to life in a 3D medium. Self-taught artist Gavin Worth creates wire sculptures that, from the right angle, look a lot like contour drawings. Each of his “freestanding line drawings” depicts a simple human moment, such as a woman adjusting her hair, two lovers embracing or a pair of hands clasping. Worth’s style and approach lends to a light and open mood, inviting the viewer into the moment he’s captured. Source
