You either love or hate all the food porn on Facebook and Instagram. It’s great when it inspires you to whip up your own dish or call for reservations. But when it’s 1am and all you have in the house is pasta, you really hate it. Takashi Betsui’s of the blog Sync Ideas captures his days in a far more analog manner. In fact, his online picture diary chronicles his days using moleskine notebooks and a collection of over two hundred different pens and pencils. All of the images on his hand drawn blog are sketched by him, as the site is really more a collection of scans from his notebooks. Along with drawings of what he ate, his drawing create the feeling of the meal, describing where it was, and who was there.
